These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Alteris, a coaching and insight tool powered by adaptive AI.

By using Alteris, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Alteris Does

Alteris is an AI driven coaching platform that analyzes your professional behavior (for example, email tone and timing) to deliver tailored insights. Over time, it evolves into a strategic partner that helps you lead with clarity and intention.

2. Your Responsibilities

You must be 18 or older and legally capable of entering into this agreement.

Do not misuse the service (for example, reverse engineering, spamming, harassment, or other abuse).

Keep your login credentials secure.

3. Data Use and Privacy

By using Alteris, you grant us permission to access and process your data as described in our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of your data. We only use it to provide and improve the service.

4. Intellectual Property

You keep ownership of the content and data you share with Alteris.

Alteris and its licensors own all rights in the platform and service, including the software, models, designs, and all related intellectual property. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Alteris and the AI-generated outputs for your own personal or internal business purposes.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or reverse engineer any part of Alteris, except where allowed by law or with our written permission.

5. Feedback

If you share feedback, suggestions, or ideas with us, you agree that we may use them in any way to develop and improve Alteris, without any obligation to you. This does not limit your rights in your own data, but it does allow us to freely use ideas you choose to share about the product.

6. Beta Disclaimer

Alteris is currently in beta testing. Features may change, break, or be discontinued. We make no guarantees of uptime, continuity, or completeness during this phase.

7. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or harm the experience for others.

8. Limitation of Liability

Alteris is offered as is during its beta phase. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States of America, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice, for example by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Alteris after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
